Nick Patullo, CFP®

Wealth Management Advisor

Nick Patullo, CFP®, joined Legacy Edge Advisors in November 2022 when it merged with his prior firm, WealthShield Partners, LLC® dba Orbis Wealth Team..

Nick specializes in providing comprehensive financial planning services, including retirement planning, investment management, and estate and legacy preservation.

For over 20 years, Nick has provided financial planning solutions and advisory services to individual clients and families. He began his career with Citibank, then moved to the MetLife Wealth Planning Group. Prior to joining Orbis Wealth, Nick worked for 16 years at TIAA as a Wealth Management Advisor in Princeton, NJ.

In his advisory role, Nick believes in the following core principles:

  • Always be a good steward for the client, and provide advice aligned with the client’s needs and values.
  • Relationships should be based on awareness, trust, and transparency.
  • As a fiduciary, always put a client’s interests first.

Clients who have worked with Nick quickly understand that one of his gifts is explaining complicated financial concepts in “layperson” terms. This enables clients to understand and articulate them on their own. Clients have often expressed their appreciation for the time Nick takes to ensure their understanding of what are often confusing financial concepts and language.

Nick’s attraction to join the Orbis Wealth team is simple - the ability to tailor customized and innovative financial solutions for each client’s personal needs while working collaboratively with a team of professionals who are passionate about their work and who perform those responsibilities with integrity.

Nick earned degrees from Valley Forge Military College (AA), Rutgers University (BS), and Springfield College (MEd). He earned his Certified Financial Planner® designation in 2006.

Nick completed the US Paratrooper “Airborne” training in college and is passionate about supporting military-oriented causes such as the Wounded Warrior Foundation, Tunnel to Towers, USO, and the James J. Regan “Army Ranger Lead the Way” Fund.

Nick lives in Hillsborough, New Jersey, with his wife, Laurie Patullo, DPT.

Nick regularly plays lacrosse in his spare time, competing at national tournaments throughout the year. He is also a Taekwondo Black Belt. Nick and Laurie have two children, Michael and Stephanie; both are doctoral students at Johns Hopkins University and the University of Scranton. While Nick and Laurie do not have grandchildren, Michael’s cat Basil is a good proxy for the time being.
